192. Bevel angle(1) 0° bevel anglePush the carriage toward the guide fence andtighten two clamp screws to secure the car-riage. Lower the handle fully and lock it in thelowered position by pushing in the stopperpin. Loosen the lever at the rear of the tool.Turn the 0° bevel angle adjusting bolt (lowerbolt) on the right side of the arm two or threerevolutions counterclockwise to tilt the bladeto the right.Carefully square the side of the blade with thetop surface of the turn base using the triangu-lar rule, try-square, etc. by turning the 0°bevel angle adjusting bolt clockwise. Thentighten the lever securely.Make sure that the pointer on the arm point to0° on the bevel scale on the arm holder. If itdoes not point to 0°, loosen the screw whichsecures the pointer and adjust the pointer sothat it will point to 0°.(2) 45° bevel angleAdjust the 45° bevel angle only after perform-ing 0° bevel angle adjustment. To adjust left45° bevel angle, loosen the lever and tilt theblade to the left fully. Make sure that thepointer on the arm points to 45° on the bevelscale on the arm holder.
