Use only identical carbon brushes.12009516Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new onesand secure the brush holder caps.After replacing brushes, plug in the tool and break inbrushes by running tool with no load for about 10minutes. Then check the tool while running and electricbrake operation when releasing the switch trigger. Ifelectric brake is not working well, ask your local Makitaservice center for repair.After use• After use, wipe off chips and dust adhering to thetool with a cloth or the like. Keep the blade guardclean according to the directions in the previouslycovered section titled "Blade guard".
