Discoloration, deformation or cracks mayresult.Adjusting the cutting angleThis tool is carefully adjusted and aligned at the factory,but rough handling may have affected the alignment. Ifyour tool is not aligned properly, perform the following:1. Miter anglePush the carriage toward the guide fence andtighten the locking screw clockwise and pull thelock lever towards the front of the saw to securethe carriage.Turn the grip counterclockwise which secures theturn base. Turn the turn base so that the pointerpoints to 0° on the miter scale. Then turn the turnbase slightly clockwise and counterclockwise toseat the turn base in the 0° miter notch. (Leave asit is if the pointer does not point to 0°.) Loosen thehex sockets bolts securing the guide fence usingthe socket wrench.Lower the handle fully and lock it in the loweredposition by pushing in the stopper pin. Square theside of the blade with the face of the guide fenceusing a triangular rule, try-square, etc. Thensecurely tighten the hex socket bolts on the guidefence in order starting from the right side.1009509Make sure that the pointer points to 0° on the miterscale.
