Place the tool on a flat surface. Loosen the screwsecuring the stopper pole.12Fig.1► 1. Stopper pole 2. Screw2. Loosen the lock lever and lower the tool body untilthe router bit just touches the flat surface. Tighten thelock lever to lock the tool body.12Fig.2► 1. Lock lever 2. Screw3. Stopper block4. Raise the stopper pole until the desired depthof cut is obtained. The depth of cut is indicated on thescale (1 mm per graduation) by the depth pointer. Thentighten the screw to secure the stopper pole.5. Your predetermined depth of cut can be obtainedby loosening the lock lever and then lowering the toolbody until the stopper pole makes contact with theadjusting hex bolt.CAUTION: Since excessive cutting may causeoverload of the motor or difficulty in controllingthe tool, the depth of cut should not be more than15 mm (9/16″) at a pass when cutting grooveswith an 8 mm (5/16″) diameter bit.CAUTION: When cutting grooves with a 20mm (13/16″) diameter bit, the depth of cut shouldnot be more than 5 mm (3/16″) at a pass.CAUTION: When you wish to cut groovesmore than 15 mm (9/16″) deep with an 8 mm(5/16″) diameter bit or more than 5 mm (3/16″)deep with a 20 mm (13/16″) diameter bit, makeseveral passes with progressively deeper bitsettings.
