7This tool is provided with the sub table (R) on the rightside of the main table. To use the sub table (R), loosentwo screws on the right side counterclockwise, pull outthe table (R) fully and then tighten the two screws tosecure it.Sub table (back)12008768To use the sub table (back), loosen the screws on the leftand right hand sides under the table and pull it outbackwards to the desired length. At the desired length,tighten the screw securely.Slide table12008767CAUTION:• After using slide table, be sure to lock it by movingthe locking plate to the vertical position.This tool is provided with the slide table on the left side.The slide table slides back and forth. Pivot the lockingplates on the back and front sides to the horizontalposition before using it.Hold workpiece firmly with the miter gauge using aclamp on the miter gauge and slide the workpiecetogether with the slide table at the time of cuttingoperation.ASSEMBLYCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before carrying out any work on thetool.The tool is shipped from the factory with the saw bladeand blade guard not in the installed condition. Assembleas follows:Installing or removing saw bladeCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off andunplugged before installing or removing the blade.• Use only the Makita socket wrench provided toinstall or remove the blade. Failure to do so mayresult in overtightening or insufficient tightening ofthe hex bolt. This could cause an injury.• Use the following saw blade. Hold the outerflange with the wrench and loosen the hex nutcounterclockwise with the wrench. Then remove theouter flange.Assemble the inner flange, saw blade, outer flange andhex nut onto the arbor, making sure that the teeth of theblade are pointing down at the front of the table.
