Push (Lock Button)1. Remove the Tipped Saw Cover Retaining Bolts (4pieces) with a hexagonal wrench.2. Remove the Tipped Saw Cover.3. Insert a hexagonal wrench into the bolt retainingthe Tipped Saw Guide.4. Push in the Lock Button and using the hexagonalwrench as a handle, rotate the Tipped Saw blade until itis prevented from further rotation by the Lock Button.CAUTION: Ensure that the Lock Buttonis completely pushed in. If not, the hexagonalwrench can rotate and may cause personal injury.5. With the Tipped Saw locked, turn the hexagonalwrench counterclockwise to loosen and remove the boltand washer.6. Remove the Tipped Saw Guide and the TippedSaw.How to replace the Tipped SawCAUTION: Use only Makita supplied TippedSaw. If reusing a Tipped Saw, ensure it is notworn, chipped or damaged.CAUTION: Clean and remove all debris anddirt from the Tipped Saw and parts. Debris anddirt can unbalance the Tipped Saw making itwobble during cutting.
