This function can be turned on/ off by softwarecommands (RS232) or by OSD menu operations. The factory default setting is ON.Software CEC commands are: “50686%” (enable CEC) and “50687%” (disable CEC).HDMI Input ports 1~3 support CEC, if the connected source devices also support CECand their CEC functions are enabled, you can control the source device via the IRremote of the 500435.The working status related to CEC and STANDBY is showed as below:Situation Working StatusCEC: on,Standby: onPress STANDBY button on the IR remote, the 500435 entersthe Standby mode, so do all the CEC enabled HDMI sourcedevices.Press STANDBY button again on the IR remote, the 500435exits the standby mode, the CEC enabled HDMI sourcedevices also exit the standby mode.CEC: on,Standby: offPress STANDBY button on the IR remote, The 500435 entersthe Standby mode, HDMI1~3 source devices stay On.CEC: onUse CEC function buttons,▲,▼, , , OK, Play, Pause,Fast Forward, and Reverse buttons on the IR remote tocontrol the HDMI source devicesCEC: off Disables all CEC functions.CEC: Control HDMI source devices by IR remote
