20Note: As with any wireless network hardware, connectionreliability will be affected by both network routerperformance and Wi-Fi signal quality. To minimise thepossibility of poor connection reliability, Uniti Seriesproducts should be connected to network audio sourcesby no more than one wireless “leg”. This type of securityfeature is known as ‘MAC address filtering’. Uniti Seriesproduct MAC addresses are shown in both their NetworkSettings and Factory Settings menus.Note: The wireless password key is created when thewireless router is first set up and could be a word ora series of numbers and letters. If the password is notknown, check on the router settings page or with theperson who initially set up the router.Note: If a router offers multiple security configurations, only the most secure one will be offered.Note: If WEP security is used the router should be set to“auto” or “open” authentication. If the selected network is insecureand requires no password, an alertmessage will display.
