Send messageBefore sending message, you must input the number of message center. This step needs to be set only onetime. The setting can be seen in 6.2.10.When the message is transmitting, the phone will prompt “ sending to…”; if sending is failed, the phone willprompt “sending is failed!”If sending is successful, the phone will prompt “ sending is successful! “ the message will be added intooutgoing messages.6.3 Receive messageWhen receiving a message, the phone will give a prompt sound ( it can be set, seen in 4.3.1) then themessage will be added in inbox. The screen will display an icon of small envelope to prompt there is amessage you have not read yet (seen in 1.3). The message will be saved automatically in the memory or SIMcard (the setting is seen in 6.10). The maximum number of messages to be saved (including those to be sent)is dependent on the volume of the phone and SIM card.6.4 Read messageAll received messages(including messages and WAP PUSH information) are stored in inbox. There is an iconbefore each message to show the status of this message. Opened envelope indicates the message has beenread; on the contrary, unopened envelope shows that has not been read. The location where the message isstored is also indicated by the icon.
