Software maintenance, includingbackup and restore, is designed to be virtually foolproof.o Web Administration Console: By using the new HTML-based WebAdministration Console, UM8000 can be managed from anyWindows PC on the network. This new console is intuitively designedand is accessible using an IP connection.o Disk full warning: When the number of minutes of message storageleft on the system is equal to or less than a value specified by thesystem manager, the system asks subscribers to deleteunnecessary messages.The disk full settings are configured on the System > Configuration >Recordings page in the Web Administration Console. Subscriberscan also set a limit on the number of messages that can be left intheir message boxes.o General audio error notification: Selected system errors arecommunicated to system managers using a message left verbally bythe UM8000 system.Messaging System ReportsUM8000 provides a great deal of information about incoming phone calls.The information, generated in reports, can be used to make decisionsabout the organization, such as staffing levels, productivity, and phoneequipment needs. Reports can be viewed on the screen or printed to aprinter connected to the messaging system PC client.The reports can be displayed online or sent to a text file. The default filename for the report is default.txt. This file should be renamed whengenerating the report so that it has a meaningful name. Reports are notgenerated with comma-separated values.
