Directory DialingPage - 51Directory DialingIf you have a display terminal, Directory Dialing allows you to select a co-worker or outside number from alist of names, rather than dialing the telephone number. There are four types of Directory Dialing:ABB - Company (Common)/Department (Group) Abbreviated DialingEXT - Co-worker's extensionSTA - Personal Abbreviated Dialing BinsTELBK - Central Telephone BookDirectory Dialing follows any feature restrictions that your UX5000 may have enabled. For example, if yourextension cannot normally use Common Abbreviated Dialing, Directory Dialing can't access it either.To use Directory Dialing from a display keyset:1. Do not press SPK or Lift handset.2. Press the DIR Soft Key.If you wait too long between your selections, Directory Dialing automatically cancels.3.
