During Rapid heat up, do not place any food in thecooking compartment for as long as the f symbol is lit.1. Set the operating mode and temperature.The appliance heats up.2. Press the KJ clock function button repeatedly until the KJand f symbols light up and Œ appears in the clock display.3. Turn the rotary selector clockwise.In the clock display, Ž is displayed and the f symbol lightsup. Rapid heat up is activated.After reaching the set temperature, Rapid heat up switches off.The f symbol goes out.Checking, correcting or deleting settings1. The air circulation is impaired and this will havea negative effect on your baking.We recommend that you use dark-coloured metal baking tins.Tinplate and glass dishes increase the baking time requiredand the cake will not brown evenly.If you wish to bake using tinplate tins and % Top/bottom heat,you should use shelf position 1.Always slide the universal pan in carefully as far as it will goand make sure that the sloping edge is facing the appliancedoor.Baking on one levelIf you are baking on one level with 3 CircoTherm®, alwaysplace a round tin in the centre of the wire rack (figure A) andalways place a loaf tin diagonally (figure B).If you are baking on one level with 3CircoTherm®, alwaysplace two round baking tins diagonally to each other on thewire rack (figure C).Baking on two or more levelsIf you are baking on more than one level, only use the3 CircoTherm® operating mode.Bear in mind that your items may brown at different rates oneach level. The items on the top level will brown more quicklyand can be taken out earlier.Two baking tins on two levelsWhen baking with two round baking tins or two baking trays,slide a wire rack in at shelf position 1 and a wire rack in at shelfposition 3.Place the lower baking tin to the left (figure A) and the upperbaking tin to the right (figure B) on the wire rack.$ %&&$ %
