39B Service and support InformationServicing the laserThe laser have no user serviceable components. In case of malfunction, contactNKT Photonics using the support channels in section “Support contact details”.Caution: Do not open the laser’s modules. The laser modules are equipped withwarranty labels (see Figure 19) on the covers of the laser chassis. The warranty isvoid if the system is opened.Figure 19 Warranty sealCaution: The laser contains electro-static discharge (ESD) sensitive components.To avoid permanent ESD damage, use ESD protection precautions when han-dling the laser. Always connect the laser’s earth point to a ground earth withinyour facility.Opening the laserchassisThere are no user serviceable components inside the laser chassis. Should yourlaser malfunction, and it cannot be serviced on site, it must be shipped to theNKT Photonics office in Birkerød, Denmark.WARRANTY VOIDIF REMOVED LabelThe unit is sealed with a label “WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED”.
