58INSTALLATION GUIDEInstallation OpeningThis unit can be installed in any dashboardhaving an opening as shown below. Thedashboard should be 4.75mm - 5.56mm thickin order to be able to support the unit.If the opening is too small, carefully cut or fileas necessary until the sleeve easily slides intothe opening. Do not force the sleeve into theopening or cause it to bend or bow. Check forsufficient space behind the dashboard for theunit chassis.ResetPress the RESET button with a pointed objectto reset the unit to the original status.Note: Press the RESET button will erase theclock setting and stored stations.Installation Procedures1. If relevant, remove any other audio systemfrom the car.2. I n s e r t t h e m o u n t i n g s l e e v e i n t o t h edashboard. Fix it firmly in place by foldingdown the metal tabs.3. Perform the required electrical connections.4. Then check that everything works beforeinstalling the main unit.5. Remove the two screws on the top of theunit, otherwise, the unit will not work.6. Install the car radio in the dashboard usingthe supplied screws (M5x6mm).7. Switch off the power ofthe unit.2. Press button to flipdown the panel.3. Hold the right part of the panel. Press tothe left side, then take off the panel.4. Place the panel into the case and take itwith you when you leave the car.Install the panel1. Hold the panel ande n s u r e t h e p a n e lfaces downward, andset left side of thepanel in the panelbracket, then set theright part.2. Press the top of paneluntil it locks.Remove the unit1. Remove the panel andthe trim plate.2. I n s e r t b o t h R e m o v a lKeys into hole on thefront of the set until they lock.3. Pull out the unit.12
