If the system does notfunction normally, it can take several actions when the Watchdog Timerexpires—No Action, Hard Reset, Power Down, or Power Cycle.Watchdog Timer CounterUse this feature to set the time interval to reboot the computer if a timeoutevent occurs.Advanced BIOS FeaturesHard Disk Boot PriorityThis option determines the boot priority of the installed hard disks.Hyperthreading TechnologyThe Intel processor uses hyperthreading technology to increase transactionrates and reduce end-user response times. The technology treats the twocores inside the processor as two logical processors that can executeinstructions simultaneously, thereby improving system performance.If you choose Disabled, the processor uses only one core to execute theinstructions.Note Enabling hyperthreading requires an Intel Pentium 4 processor, Intel chipset,BIOS, and operating system that support hyperthreading.
