© National Instruments Corporation 15 nuDrive Accessory User GuideCF nuDrive ConfigurationThere are two I/O connectors (upper and lower) on the CF nuDrive. EachI/O connector uses a six-position removable screw terminal block. Theupper terminal block provides access to four channels of ±10 V A/Dconverter analog input as well as analog reference voltage output from theconverter circuit and reference common signal connections. The lowerterminal block provides access to breakpoint output digital I/O signals aswell as an isolated external power supply voltage input connection. Referto Figures 14 and 15 for the upper and lower FlexMotion-compatible I/Oterminal block pin assignments.Figure 14. Upper I/O Terminal Block Pin Assignment on the CF nuDriveFigure 15. Lower I/O Terminal Block Pin Assignment on the CF nuDriveThe breakpoint output digital signals are opto-coupled outputs and requirean isolated voltage source connected to the isolated voltage and isolatedcommon inputs. You can either use an external isolated voltage source, oryou can use the +5 V and ground signals on the host computer by properlysetting a jumper to connect the isolated voltage (input) to 5 V and the ISOCommon signal on the FlexMotion-6C board. Refer to the FlexMotion-6CHardware User Manual for more information.123456A/D Input Channel 1A/D Input Channel 2A/D Input Channel 4Analog CommonA/D Input Channel 3Analog Ref.
