NX100 Pre-installation Manual Physical requirementsPage 3-2 Issue 3.2 2017-03-31ClearancesFor the main transmitter cabinet, allow the following clearances:• Front and Rear: 1.2 m (4.0 feet) required minimum to allow for the front and rear doorswing.• Left Side (as viewed from front): 0.9 m (3.0 feet) required minimum for possible combinermaintenance (the combiner pipe is 3 feet long and may need to be removed from this side).• Right Side (as viewed from front): 0.6 m (2.0 feet) recommended minimum for possiblecombiner maintenance. Allow enough room for someone to comfortably work at the side ofthe transmitter for possible maintenance activities such as removing the side panel, replacinga fuse, removing combiner pipe hardware, etc.Check the clearance to ensure that you will be able to open all doors and access panels. The frontcontrol panel is hinged on the left (as viewed from the front of the transmitter).Also consider access to the rear of the transmitter during installation and servicing, and access to thefront of the transmitter during power module replacement. You must allow space to open the frontpanel and slide out any of the power modules. These modules slide straight in and out of the shelfunit in the front of the transmitter.
