It is also used for filenames, functions, andexamples.The greater than symbol (>) is used as a separator for successive menu selections.For example, Object > New > User means that you should pull down the Objectmenu, drag the mouse down to highlight New, and drag the mouse across to theNew submenu in which you must select User.Throughout this book you will see path references of the form:/usr/netscape/servers/slapd-serverID/...The /usr/netscape/servers directory is the default installation directory. If youhave installed Directory Server in a different location, you should adapt the pathaccordingly. serverID represents the server identifier you gave the server when youinstalled it.
