They includeimportant safety and operation information.WARNINGS NOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near flammable liquids, or whereexplosion proof lamps are required. DO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a riskof flammable liquids coming into contact with the flashlight. DO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or allow the batteriesto get wet. DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that may cause a shortcircuit. Immediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit an unusual smell,feel hot, change color, change shape or appear abnormal in any way. Keep out of the reach of children.OPERATIONThe MT-220 has five light modes: momentary flashlight, high-brightnessflashlight, medium-brightness flashlight, low-brightness flashlight and strobe.The MT-220 has a single tail-cap switch providing access to all modes.MOMENTARY FLASHLIGHT MODELightly press the tail-cap switch for momentary operation. Release theswitch to turn the light off. Because the MT-220 is a multi-function light, if themomentary flashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned offthe flashlight, the next mode in the flashlight’s operation will be activated. Ifmore than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning off the flashlight, the high-brightness mode will be activated the next time the tail-cap switch is pressed.CONSTANT-ONPress the tail-cap switch until it clicks and then release for constant-onin high-brightness mode. Press and release the tail-cap switch again to turnthe light off. Because the MT-220 is a multi-function light, if the constant-on flashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned off theflashlight, the next mode in the flashlight’s operation will be activated. Ifmore than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning off the flashlight, the high-brightness mode will be activated the next time the tail-cap switch is pressed.SELECT BRIGHTNESS LEVELPress the tail-cap switch either partially (momentary mode) or until thetail-cap switch clicks (constant-on mode) multiple times in a row, and theflashlight will cycle to the next mode in the flashlight’s operation (high-brightness, medium-brightness, low-brightness and strobe). At that point, thenext press of the tail-cap switch (within 2 seconds) will start the flashlight’smode over again with high-brightness. When the desired brightness level (orstrobe mode) is reached, simply stop cycling through the brightness selectionprocess. To turn the light off from momentary mode, simply release the tail-cap switch. To turn the light off from constant-on mode, simply press thetail-cap switch one more time.BAYCO PRODUCTS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTYWARRANTYBayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects inworkmanship and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The LimitedLifetime Warranty includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeablebatteries, chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories arewarranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Disposable, non-rechargeable batteries are excluded from this warranty. Normal wear andfailures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation andlightning damage are also excluded.In the event that Bayco Products, Inc. receives notice that any productdoes not conform to its warranty, the original purchaser’s sole and exclusiveremedy, and Bayco Products, Inc.’s sole and exclusive liability, shall befor Bayco Products, Inc., at its sole option, to either repair or replace thenon-conforming product in accordance with this limited warranty. Theoriginal purchaser shall follow the instructions below to qualify for a repairor replacement product. This is the only warranty, expressed or implied,including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.IN NO EVENT WILL BAYCO PRODUCTS, INC. OR ITS AFFILIATESOR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTALOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND REGARDLESS OFTHE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDINGNEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. THE TOTALCUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER, FROM ALL CAUSES OFACTION AND ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY, WILL BE LIMITED TO ANDWILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT PAID BYCUSTOMER.If this product is used for rental purposes, the warranty term is reduced to90 days from the date of purchase.WARRANTY CLAIMS – USAReturn the product to the place of purchase for all warranty related issues.If this is not possible, contact Bayco Customer Service at (800) 233-2155M-F 8-5 Central Time for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Do not returnthis product to Bayco without first receiving an RGA Number from BaycoCustomer Service. When returning the product, the RGA Number must bewritten on the outside of the shipping box.WARRANTY CLAIMS – OUTSIDE OF USAReturn the product to the place where purchased for all warranty relatedissues.EXTENT OF COVERED WARRANTY WORKBayco will repair or replace this product at our option.
