166nAttaching a Power Connector and AC AdapterTurn the camera off before attaching an optional power connec-tor and AC adapter.1 Ready the camera.Open the battery-chamber (q) andpower connector (w) covers.2 Insert the EP-5B power connector.Be sure to insert the connector in theorientation shown, using the connec-tor to keep the orange battery latchpressed to one side. The latch locksthe connector in place when the con-nector is fully inserted.3 Close the battery-chamber cover.Position the power connector cable sothat it passes through the power con-nector slot and close the battery-chamber cover.
