Using Target Finding AFWhen AF area mode (_68) in I_ (auto) mode is set to Target finding AF, tile camerafocuses in the manner described below when you press the shutteerelease button halfway.• If the camera detects the main subject, it focuses on thatsubject. When the subject is in focus, the focus areas (up tothree areas) that match up with the size of the subject lightin green.When human faces are detected, the camera automaticallysets focus priority on one of them.FocusareasIf the camera does not detect the main subject, itautomatically selects one or more of the nine focus areascontaining the subject closest to the camera.
