153Menu Guide—The Playback MenuPrint SetPrint set is used to create a digital “print order” that lists the photographsto be printed, the number of copies, and the information to be included oneach print. This information is stored on the memory card in Digital PrintOrder Format (DPOF). The card can then be removed from the camera andused to print the selected images printed on any DPOF-compatible device.Highlight Print set in the playback menu ( 146)and press the multi selector to the right. Press themulti selector up or down to highlight an option,then press to the right to make a selection.Option DescriptionSelect / set Select photographs for printing.Deselect all? Remove all images from print order.Print SetPrint set will not be available if there is not enough space on the memory card torecord the print order. Delete unwanted pictures and try again.NEF ImagesImages created at image quality settings of NEF (Raw) ( 43) can not be selected forprinting using this option.Taking Pictures for Direct PrintingWhen taking images to be printed without modification, set the Color mode op tionin the shooting menu to I (sRGB) or III (sRGB) ( 67).DPOF / PictBridgeDigital Print Order Format (DPOF) is an industry-wide standard that allows pictures tobe printed from print orders stored on the memory card. Before printing, check thatthe printer or print service supports DPOF. Pictures selected using Print set can also beprinted on PictBridge printers via direct USB connection ( 226). When a PictBridgeprinter is connected to the camera using the supplied UC-E4 USB cable, a menu willbe displayed in the camera monitor; select DPOF print to print the current print order.Note that the date and shooting information will not be printed.
