391nReplacing the Focusing ScreenA type B clear-matte VI focusing screen is inserted in the camera atshipment. To insert an optional type E clear-matte VI focusingscreen for D3 cameras (pg. 384):1 Remove the lens.Turn the camera off and remove the lens.2 Unlatch the screen holder.Using the tweezers supplied with thefocusing screen, pull the focusing screenlatch towards you. The screen holder willspring open.3 Remove the existing screen.Remove the existing screen, using thesupplied tweezers and being careful tohandle the screen by the tab to avoidscratches.4 Insert the replacement screen.Using the tweezers and handling thescreen by the tab, set the replacementscreen in the holder.
