Choose Auto for automaticsensitivity adjustment or select from values betweenISO 100 and 25600. Settings of Hi BW1 (equivalent toISO 51200) and Hi BW2 (equivalent to ISO 102400) arealso available in modes P, S, A, and M, but note thatpictures taken with either setting are recorded inmonochrome using the options selected for SetPicture Control > Monochrome in the photo shootingmenu.Hi ISO commanddial accessChoosing On extends the range of settings that can beselected using the W (S) button and main commanddial to include Hi BW1 and Hi BW2. Note that Hi BW1and Hi BW2 are available in P, S, A, and M modes only.Auto ISOsensitivitycontrolIf On is selected, the camera will automatically adjustISO sensitivity when optimal exposure can not beachieved at the value selected for ISO sensitivity (autoISO sensitivity control also applies when the flash isused). You can choose the maximum sensitivity toprevent ISO sensitivity being raised too high and theshutter speed below which auto ISO sensitivity controlwill kick in to prevent under exposure in modes P and A(the minimum shutter speed; choose from valuesbetween 1/4000 s and 30 s).
