Please notethat photographs can not be taken with slow-motion movies.D Recording MoviesFlicker, banding, or distortion may be visible in the display and in thefinal movie under fluorescent, mercury vapor, or sodium lamps or if thecamera is panned horizontally or an object moves at high speedthrough frame (flicker and banding can be reduced in HD movies bychoosing a Flicker reduction option that matches the frequency of thelocal AC power supply as described on page 161, but note that theslowest shutter speed available is 1/100 s at 50 Hz, 1/60 s at 60 Hz; flickerreduction is not available with slow-motion movies). Bright lightsources may leave after-images when the camera is panned. Jaggededges, color fringing, moiré, and bright spots may also appear. Whenrecording movies, avoid pointing the camera at the sun or other stronglight sources.
