12Control buttonsTwo-button control functionPress two buttons simultaneously to perform the following operations.Follow the procedures shown on the flash unit.a buttonPress to set the flash mode (p. 26).• Press to adjust the settings in the CustomSettings mode (p. 52).• Press to choose the desired settings whensetting the remote flash unit (p. 61).ZOOM buttonPress to change the zoom-head position (p. 40).• Press to adjust the settings in the CustomSettings mode (p. 52).FLASH buttonPress to test fire the flash (p. 20).i button/j buttonPress to increase or decrease the values.• Press to choose the desired settings inthe Custom Settings mode (p. 52).• Press to adjust the settings when settingthe remote flash unit (p. 61).ON/OFF buttonPress for approx. 0.3 second to turn the power onor off.Recalling the underexposure value in theTTL auto flash modePress the s and a buttons simultaneously torecall the underexposure value (p. 29).Resetting the settings to default valuesPress the a and b buttons simultaneously forapprox. 2 seconds to reset all settings, including thecustom settings, to their default settings.Button lockPress the a and j buttons simultaneously forapprox. 1 second to lock the functions of the controlbuttons (except the b and FLASH buttons) to avoidaccidental malfunction.
