Once focus has been locked the double borderwill glow green.When shooting non-human subjects or when nofaces are recognized:The camera focuses on the subject overlapping the focusarea in the center of the monitor. When the subject is infocus, the focus area glows green.• When the digital zoom is used, the focus indicator(A 6) glows green once the focus has been locked inthe center of the monitor. The focus area won’t be displayed.• The shutter speed and aperture are displayed when the shutter-release button ispressed halfway.• The focus and exposure remain locked while the shutter-release button is pressedhalfway.• When the shutter-release button is pressed halfway, and then the double borderblinks in Face Priority, or the focus area or the focus indicator blinks red, the camera isunable to focus. Change the composition and press the shutter-release buttonhalfway down again.2 Press the shutter-release button the rest ofthe way down.The picture will be recorded to the memory card orinternal memory.B During RecordingWhile pictures are being recorded, the O (wait) icon will be displayed and the number of exposuresremaining or movie length will blink.
