Label all wires.If you label the wires for their destination,rather than which terminal of the NilesSystem Integration Amplifier® theyare connected to, it will be easier toreconfigure your system in the future.2. Connect one stripped wireend or banana plug to theblack terminal and one tothe red terminal.A. Split the speaker wire insulation so thatat least two inches of each conductor areseparated.B. Strip one half inch of insulation fromthe end of each conductor of the speakerwire.C. Attach banana plugs or twist thestrands of wire together and insert theminto the appropriate binding post.Bare WireUnscrew the red orblack plastic knob,insert the bare wireend into the opening,and then tighten theknob until the wire issecurely clampedBanana PlugsThere are many types ofbanana plugs, some crimp,some solder. The Nilesgold banana plug has 3quick-connect bindingpost for the bare wire onthe body of the plug. Abanana plug is simplyinserted into the jack atthe end of the amplifier’sbinding post.
