Charge the batteries in well-ventilated areas and away from nakedflames. Do not smoke while charging the batteries. Keep the recovery tank lifted untilthe battery charging cycle is over.Warning! Pay close attention when charging WET CELL batteries, as there may be battery fluidleakages. The battery fluid is corrosive. If it comes in contact with skin or eyes, rinsethoroughly with water and consult a physician.1 (For WET CELL batteries only) Check the level of electrolyte inside the batteries If necessary, unscrewthe caps and top up2 When the correct level is restored, close the caps and clean the tops of the batteriesCharging the Batteries with an External BatteryCharger1 Check that the external battery charger issuitable by referring to the relevant ManualThe battery charger voltage rating must be 24V2 Press the emergency push-button, disconnectthe red battery connector and connect it to theexternal battery charger3 Connect the battery charger to the electricalmains4 After charging, disconnect the battery chargerfrom the electrical mains and from the batteryred connector5 Connect the battery connector to the machine6 Disengage the support rod, then grasp thehandle and carefully lower the recovery tankassemblyBattery charging with battery charger installed onthe machine7 Plug the battery charger into the electricalmains (the mains voltage and frequency mustbe compatible with the battery charger valuesshown on the machine serial number plate)Note: When the battery charger isconnected to the electricalmains, all machine functionsare automatically cut off.1 When the first or second segment from the left inthe battery symbol is flashing, this means thatthe battery charger is charging the batteries2 When the third segment from the left in thebattery symbol is flashing, this means that thebattery charger is finishing the battery chargingcycle3 When all segments of the battery symbolare steadily lit, the battery charging cycle iscomplete4 Disconnect the battery charger plug from theelectrical mains and place it in its holder5 Disengage the support rod, then grasp thehandle and carefully lower the recovery tankassemblyNote: For further information aboutthe operation of the batterycharger, see the relevantManual.https://harrissupplyind.com - To Order Parts Call 608-268-8080
