15HOW TO CLEANCAUTION: Make sure that the motor base is unpluggedfrom the power source before inserting or removing anyattachment and before cleaning.CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the motor base into wateror any other liquid.1 Separate/remove all parts from each other.2 Clean the motor base with a damp cloth and wipe dry.3 Place the pitcher, single serve cup and bowl in thedishwasher. Place the lids and attachments on thetop rack. Use caution when handling the bladeassemblies as the blades are very sharp.NOTE: You may also wash the containers by filling ¾of the container with warm water and a drop of dishwashing detergent, placing the corresponding lid onthe container and pressing the pulse button a fewtimes. Once clean, remove the container from themotor base. Rinse the container, attachment and lidunder running water. Allow all the parts to dry beforestoring.Care & MaintenanceHOW TO STORE1 Store the Ninja ® Mega Kitchen System upright with thepitcher on the motor base, 6-Blade assembly inside thepitcher and lid on the pitcher. Do not place anything ontop. Store the bowl with the 4-Blade assembly insideand the lid on top. Store the single serve cup and therest of the attachments along side the appliance or ina cabinet where they will not be damaged and won’tcause a hazard.RESETTING THE MOTOR THERMOSTATThe Ninja ® Mega Kitchen System features a unique safetysystem which prevents damage to the unit’s motor and drivesystem should you inadvertently overload your appliance. Ifthe appliance is being overloaded, the motor will stop andthe power light will remain lit and speeds 1, 2 and 3 willflash. To reset the appliance, follow the resetting procedurebelow:1 Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.2 Remove and empty the container and ensure that nofood is jamming the cutting blades or attachments.3 Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 30minutes.4 Re-install the container onto the base and re-plug theappliance into the electrical outlet.5 Proceed to use the appliance as before making sure notto exceed the recommended maximum capacities.
