14NZ: 0800 002 999Assembly and Use for the Salad Shooter and Slicing DiscsWARNING: Never leave the appliance unattended whilein use.CAUTION: Blades are Sharp! Handle carefully. Avoidcontact with moving parts. Keep fingers out of the chuteopening. Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher1 Place the salad shooter onto the bowl and turnclockwise to lock in place on the motor base. (Fig. 1)2 Place the slinger inside the salad shooter. (Fig. 2)3 Use the finger holes to grasp the selected disc andplace it over the slinger. (Fig. 2)4 Place the lid on the salad shooter and turn clockwiseto lock in place. (Fig. 2) Place a bowl (not included)underneath the chute to catch all the food coming out.5 Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and presson the power button ( ).6 For best results, use speeds 2 or 3 when operating thesalad shooter.7 Add the food that you want to slice, shred or gratethrough the feed chute on the lid. (Fig. 2)8 Use the assembled food pusher to push the foodthrough the feed chute. (Fig. 2) The food will come outof the chute as it is processed. If the food to be slicedis of a small diameter, use the small feed chute bytwisting the food pusher and removing the inner tube.Feed the food to be sliced through the smaller chute.TIP: Twist the inner tube counter clockwise to unlock itfrom the food pusher.9 When finished, turn the power off and remove the lid.Using the finger holes, carefully lift the disc and theslinger from the salad shooter.10 Turn the salad shooter counter clockwise and then liftoff the base.11 The salad shooter, lid, food pusher, slinger and discsare all dishwasher safe.Fig. 1Fig. 2
