Use aspatula to dislodge the pieces and thenreplace the splash guard and the powerhead. Continue processing.13 Remove the blade assembly by its shaftbefore you empty the contents of theMaster Prep ® Professional bowl.HINTS & TIPS FOR USING YOUR NINJA®MASTER PREP® PROFESSIONAL• The chopping blades can be used forchopping meat, fish, vegetables, cheeseetc.• For mincing, chopping and pureeing,increase the length of pulses.• For coarse chopping, use short, quickpulses and monitor food texture.• Pre-cut larger pieces to make them fitinto the Master Prep ® Professional.When chopping hard foods (e.g. meat,cheese) cut into 1-inch cubes.• To crush ice into snow, start by usingshort pulses to break up large chunks.Continue until snow is achieved.CAUTION: Blades are sharp! Useextreme caution when handling theblades. Always hold them by the shaft.IMPORTANT: Never run the applianceempty.1 Place the Master Prep ® Professionalbowl on a clean, dry, level surface.2 Holding the lower blade by the shaft,place it over the spindle pin inside theMaster Prep ® Professional bowl. (fig. 1)3 Carefully insert the upper blade overthe lower blade rotating it until it locksonto the lower blade. (fig. 2)IMPORTANT: Always assemble theblades inside the container.WARNING: DO NOT try to place theblades onto the power head and theninto the Master Prep ® Professionalbowl.4 Place the food that you want to processinto the Master Prep ® Professionalbowl.IMPORTANT: Never add ingredientsinto the Master Prep ® Professional bowlbefore placing the blade assembly infirst.NOTE: DO NOT add more than 2 cupsdry or 1 cup liquid ingredients as thiswill strain the motor and may causeoverflow.5 Place the splash guard on the bowl.(fig. 3)6 Place the power head on top of thesplash guard making sure that it issecurely in place. (fig. 4) DO NOTattempt to operate the appliancewithout the safety splash guard inplace.7 To start the appliance, plug the powercord into the electrical outlet, securelyhold power head while operatingand press on the on/off pulse buttonlocated on the top of the power head.(fig. 5)8 Hold the Master Prep ® Professionalbowl firmly while depressing the on/offpulse button to ensure the unit stays inplace.NOTE: DO NOT operate the appliancecontinuously for more than 15 secondsat a time. Be careful not to overprocess.
