To protect against electric shock, DO NOTimmerse cord, plug or any part of the main unit inwater or any other liquids.2. Check that the voltage indicated on the ratingplate corresponds with that of the local networkbefore connecting the appliance to the mainspower supply.3. DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge oftable or worktop, or touch hot surfaces, includingthe hob.4. DO NOT use with damaged cord or plug.5. DO NOT USE if the appliance is not working, hasbeen dropped, dropped into water, damaged orleft outdoors.6. NO SERVICEABLE PARTS. Incorrect re-assemblyor repair can cause a risk of electrical shock orinjury to persons when the appliance is used.Contact Customer Service. This appliance containsno user-serviceable parts. All repairs should onlybe carried out by a qualified engineer. Improperrepairs may place the user at risk of harm.7. Remove the power cord from the mains powersupply when not in use, before assembling ordisassembling parts, and before cleaning.8. DO NOT abuse the power cord. Never carrythe appliance by the power cord. To unplug theappliance from the mains power supply, grasp theplug and not the cord and pull to disconnect.9. DO NOT leave the appliance unattended whilstconnected to the mains power supply.10. DO NOT operate this appliance on or near any hotsurfaces (such as gas or electric burners or in aheated oven).IMPORTANT: Appliances can be used by personswith reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilitiesor lack of experience and knowledge if they havebeen given supervision or instruction concerning useof the appliance in a safe way and if they understandthe hazards involved. Extreme caution must be used when moving anappliance containing hot food, water or other liquids.13. Always use this appliance on a dry, level andstable surface.14. DO NOT remove the motor head before thechopping blades have stopped turning.15. CAUTION! Chopping blades are sharp, handlewith care, especially when removing the bladefrom the bowl, emptying the bowl and duringcleaning. When handling the chopping blades,always hold by the plastic shaft.16. DO NOT attempt to sharpen blades.17. DO NOT expose containers to extremetemperature changes.18. DO NOT use containers if they are cracked orchipped.19. DO NOT use the appliance if chopping blades arebent or damaged.20. Avoid contact with moving parts at all times.Keep hands, hair, clothing as well as spatulas andother utensils away from moving/cutting bladesand containers during operation to prevent riskof severe personal injury and/or damage to theappliance. A scraper may be used but must beused only when the appliance is not running.21. Exercise extreme caution when blending hotliquids.22. Immediately release the On/Off pulse button onthe motor head in the event that the appliancemalfunctions during use.23. To reduce the risk of injury, NEVER operate theappliance without the splash guard and bowlin place; DO NOT try to defeat the interlockmechanism; make sure that the cutting blades areproperly assembled before operating the appliance.24. THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FORHOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. DO NOT useoutdoors.25. DO NOT use appliance for other thanintended use.26. DO NOT operate the appliance for more than15 seconds.27. DO NOT operate the appliance empty.28. DO NOT overfill.29. If the appliance overheats, a thermal switch willbecome activated and shut off the motor. Toreset, unplug the appliance and let it cool downfor approximately 10 minutes before using again.30.
