12CUSTOMER CARE - AU: 1800 890 840USING THE CHOPPING BLADE ASSEMBLY1 Holding the Chopping Blade Assembly by theshaft, place it onto the star-shaped post insidethe bowl. Ensure that the attachment fits onthe star-shaped post and that it is standingstraight.2 Add the ingredients and secure the bowl lidonto the bowl. (Fig. 19)3 Plug the power cord into the electrical outletand press the power toggle up ( ) to turn thepower “On”.4 Select the speed that best suits your needs.Pulse ingredients for even chopping bypressing down on the “Start/Stop/Pulse”toggle in short intervals. Press up on the“Start/Stop/Pulse” toggle to run the unitcontinuously.NOTE: When making dips or sauces, set thevariable speed on a low setting (1-3) andpress the “Start/Stop/Pulse” toggle up.NOTE: Please refer to “Speed Settings &Uses” chart for suggested uses and speeds.5 When you have reached your desiredconsistency, stop the appliance by pressingthe “Start/Stop/Pulse” toggle up and wait forthe blade to stop turning.6 Press the power toggle ( ) down to turn thepower off.7 To remove the lid, press the release button onthe lid, pull the lid handle up to a 90° angleand lift the lid off. Hold the bowl with onehand and lift the lid with the other for bestleverage. Turn the bowl counter clockwise andthen lift off the base. Always handleby the shaft.Fig. 19 Fig. 22USEUSING THE DOUGH BLADE1 Place the motor base on a clean, dry, levelsurface such as a counter or table top.(Fig. 22)2 Secure the bowl onto the motor base.3 Holding the dough blade by the shaft, placeit onto the star-shaped post inside the bowl.Ensure that the attachment fits on the star-shaped post and that it is standing straight.4 Add the ingredients and secure the bowl lidonto the bowl.NOTE: For best results add dry ingredientsfirst and then add wet ingredients.5 Plug the power cord into the electrical outletand press up on the power toggle ( ) to turnthe power “On”.6 IMPORTANT: Use only the “DOUGH/DISC”setting when mixing dough or using eitherdisc. Press up on the Start/Stop/Pulse Toggleto start the unit.7 When finished making dough, press up onthe Start/Stop/Pulse Toggle to stop the unit.Remove the bowl from the motor base.(Fig. 20, Fig. 21)8 Press the power toggle ( ) down to turn offthe unit.NOTE: As a safety feature, the powerlight will flash when the power toggle( ) is pushed upwards if the lid or bowlare not installed correctly.
