Press any of the buttons (except for the POWER Button) to turn thedisplay back on.Does the screen turn on severalseconds after connecting theWii U GamePad AC Adapter andpressing the POWER Button?If the screen turns on after doing so, then the battery is depleted.Leave the AC adapter connected to charge the battery.If the screen does not turn on, contact Nintendo Customer Support(see Important Information booklet).Wii U GamePad makes a sound / GamePad screen suddenly turns on, even thoughthe console is turned offIf you have set Quick Start to receive notifications (by starting System Settings in the Wii U Menu andselecting POWER SETTINGS QUICK START SETTINGS), the GamePad will alert you to new notificationsby displaying them on its screen and making a sound.· The screen will turn off by itself after a short while. Please refer to the documentation supplied with theprotective sheet, and reattach it correctly.z Air or dirt has become trapped between theprotective sheet and touch screenz The protective sheet is misaligned• If the protective sheet is misaligned, please reattachthe sheet without pushing the edges under theWii U GamePad frame.z The protective sheet has slid between theframe and the touch screen· The Wii U GamePad is operating correctly if you remove the protective sheetand touch screen controls work as normal.
