Off-Hook SignalingWhile on a call, Off-Hook Signaling alerts you when you have anothercall waiting to be answered. The off-hook signal is a tone through thespeaker when the call is ringing in. You can answer the waiting call.Off-Hook Signaling also allows you to signal a busy extension when youwant to talk to them. If the busy party is on a handset call, they hear yourvoice in their handset (called Whisper Page) or beeps over the speaker.The party can select to talk to you or their initial caller. If the busy partyis on a Handsfree call, they hear a beep. You cannot use Whisper Page ifyou are an attendant.User-ProgrammableFeature:You can allow or deny Whisper Page for yourextension.
