Downloading data to the NoiseTools softwareThe noise measurements and audio recordings are downloaded directly from theinstrument into the NoiseTools software. This program allows measurements to be viewedand audio recordings replayed as well as reports created and analysis of the information tobe made.This section gives a brief overview of the software and the process to download, displayand view measurements, as well as how to listen to an audio recording.Connecting to a PCData is downloaded from the sound level meter via a USB cable which is fitted to the unit.A USB cable is fitted to the NNR to allow data to be downloaded without removing theinstrument from the case.The NoiseTools software should be installed and running before connecting the meter tothe PC.Connect the free end of the USB cable to a USB socket on the PC.
