24The phone’s two number capability feature lets yousubscribe to both cellular services in your area or acellular service in two different cities. This means that yourphone can have two numbers, usually one for eachnetwork. (NAM stands for Number Assignment Module.)Note: You cannot change from one network to the otherduring a call. (If you are only registered on one network,you cannot access the other.)To Change the Network1) Press MENU 7. OR Press MENU, then press v or V keysuntil NAM SELECT appears. Press STO.2) The phone will display the number currently in use.Press v or V to select the other number. Then press STO.You can transmit numerical information as a series of tonesusing the DTMF facility (for example to check for messagesin your answering machine).There are two alternative ways to use the DTMF facility.(I) Make the call in the usual way (see ‘Placing a Call’).Key in numbers onto the display. Each number is directlysent as a DTMF tone.
