General information■ Stickers in the salespackageThe stickers contain importantinformation for service andcustomer support purposes. Keepthese stickers in a safe place.Attach the sticker to the Yourdetails page in this User’s Guide.■ Access codes• Security code: This code,supplied with the phone, protectsyour phone against unauthoriseduse. The preset code is 12345.Refer to ”Security settings” onpage 23 to see how it works.• PIN code: This code, suppliedwith the SIM card, protects thecard against unauthorised use.Set on the PIN code request inthe Security settings menu (see”Security settings” on page 23),so that the code is requestedeach time the phone is switchedon.If you enter the PIN codeincorrectly three times insuccession, the SIM card isblocked. You must enter the PUKcode to unblock the SIM card andset a new PIN code.• PIN2 code: This code is suppliedwith some SIM cards and isrequired to access certainservices, such as charging unitcounters. If you enter the PIN2code incorrectly three times insuccession, PIN2 code blockedappears on the display, and youwill be asked for the PUK2 code.Change the security code, PINcode and PIN2 code in Change ofaccess codes in the Securitysettings menu (see ”Securitysettings” on page 23). Keep thenew codes secret and in a safeplace separate from your phone.• PUK and PUK2 code: Thesecodes may be supplied with theSIM card.
