Menu FunctionsSECURITY LEVEL (Menu 5 2)The phone is provided with a security system which allowsyou to prevent unauthorised use of the phone. The system isbased on three levels of security: None, Memory and Phone.The selected level determines whether the security code,supplied with the phone, is required to start up the phoneand to access certain memory functions, such as selectingthe phone memory (memory B).The phone keeps a list of the SIM cards which are used withthe phone. This list may contain the information on up to fivedifferent SIM cards.When the phone asks for a security code and you enter thecorrect code, the SIM card’s information is added to the SIMcard list and the SIM card becomes an ‘owner’s card’. Be-sides this information, the phone also memorises whichmemory - SIM card or phone memory - is selected for use.Regardless of the selected security level, all temporarilystored phone numbers are erased when a new SIM card is in-stalled. On the other hand, these phone numbers are noterased when a previously used SIM card is inserted, regard-less of the selected security level.Note: Whenever you change the security level, all temporarilystored phone numbers will be erased.Press Menu 5 2 to enter this function.Key in the security code and press the OK selection key.Press or to move the pointer to None, Memory orPhone.NoneThe security code is not required at anytime.
