43Menu 7, System SearchYour phone works in Public Systems (such as your HomeSystem), and in Private Systems (if supported by the net-work). With Menu 7, you choose how the phone selects anetwork to use. The default is Automatic, which meansthe phone automatically searches for networks available toyou and chooses the appropriate one. Every time youswitch on the phone, it resets this to Automatic.(Note that it chooses which Public system to use based onthe choice you make in Menu 6 1, Public Systems).If you choose Manual, the phone searches for networks,then begins displaying them.
