Approximate chargingtimes for discharged batteries are shown at thebeginning of this section.Rapid Cigarette LighterCharger (LCH-2)You can charge the phone batteryfrom your vehicle battery by usingthe Rapid Cigarette Lighter Charger(LCH-2). You can also use thecharger with the Light Desk Stand(CHH-2L) and the CompactDesktop Charging Stand (CHH-2).Calls are possible during charging.A green light indicates the charger is ready for charging(when not charging) or finished charging (if it has beencharging). A red light indicates charging. The batterycharging times are the same as those for the RapidTravel Charger (ACH-4U).The input voltage range is from 10 to 30V DC, negativegrounding. Avoid prolonged charging with the RapidCigarette Lighter Charger (LCH-2) when the car engineis not running; this may cause the battery of your car todrain. Note also that in some cars the cigarette lighterplug is not provided with electricity if the ignition is notswitched on.Fuse ReplacementThe Rapid Cigarette Lighter Charger contains aprotective fuse. The fuse is located in the charger tip.If the charger does not work, the fuse may be blown, inwhich case replace it with a 3 amp. 125 volt fuse.Never use a fuse with a higher rating.56
