If you travel outside your home system, you can chooseanother number. One phone number is usually enough if your service provider hasservice or roaming agreements for each area in which you wish to use your phone.Contact your service provider for details.Note: Phone number selection is a network dependent feature. Somenetworks may not support more than one number. Contact your serviceprovider for availability and full details.Select the phone number1 Press Menu 4-6-6 (Settings > Network services > Own number selection).2 Scroll to the phone number you want and press Select.Note: The first phone number on this list is selected. You need at least oneactive number to make calls. You cannot change from one phone numberto another during a call.• USE AUTOMATIC REDIALThere are times when you may not be able to place a call (for example, due to thehigh volume of traffic on the wireless network). When the wireless network is busyor unavailable, Automatic redial instructs your phone to retry the call.ACTIVATE AUTOMATIC REDIAL1 Press Menu 4-2-1 (Settings > Call settings > Automatic redial).2 Scroll to On and press Select.If the system is busy, your phone makes three additional call attempts. If you want tostop the automatic redial process before the last attempt, press the End key or Quit.Important: This feature does not automatically retry a number when thenumber you are calling is busy.• USE 1-TOUCH DIALINGYou can assign a name from your contact list to a 1-touch dial location, using yourphone’s keys 2-9. (The 1 key is used exclusively to dial your voice mailbox.)
