Press andhold 1 to dial your voice mailbox.# # key: Press the # key to change case of text, or to enable ordisable predictive text input.*/+ * key: Press the * key to enter special characters (for example,punctuation) or access special characters menu.Task InstructionsMake a call1 Fully extend the whip antenna.2 Enter the number using the keypad (include area code asneeded). Press the Send key.3 Hold the phone as you would any other telephone, with theear piece over your ear and the microphone near your mouth.Answer a call When your phone rings, press the Send key.End a call Press the End key to terminate the active call.Reject a call Press the End key when you do not want to answer a call, butjust want to silence the ringer.KeyguardTo avoid accidental calls, press Menu 10. You can also pressMenu, then press the */+ (within three seconds) to lock yourkeypad. This activates the Keyguard feature.UnlockkeypadWhen the keypad is locked, press Unlock, then press */+(within three seconds). This deactivates the Keyguard feature.
