[ 60 ]13 OrganizerYour phone has a calendar, alarm clock, stopwatch, andcontact database—everything you need in an organizer orpersonal digital assistant.• ALARM CLOCKYour phone alarm clock can be set to sound an alarm at a time you specify. The alarm clockuses the clock time format (12 or 24—hour format). The icon, displayed on the startscreen, indicates that an alarm is set. The alarm clock will work, regardless if the phone is onor off.Important: The alarm clock works in conjunction with your phone clock. Make surethe time and date are correct before using this feature.Set the alarm1 Press Menu 8-1 (Organizer > Alarm clock), and press Select.2 Enter the alarm time, and press OK.3 Select am or pm, and press OK.Respond to an alarmAt the time of the alarm, the phone sounds an alert tone, displays an animated message, andflashes its lights.Press Stop or the End key to stop the alarm from sounding, and return to the start screen.ENABLE SNOOZE1 Press Menu 8-1 (Organizer > Alarm clock), and press Select.2 Press the Snooze soft key.3 Press any key (except the End key or Stop).4 Allow the alarm to sound for one minute.Once snooze is enabled, the alarm will sound again in 10 minutes.Alarm when phone is offIf the alarm time is reached while the phone is switched off, the phone switches itself on andstarts sounding the alarm tone. If you press Stop, the phone asks whether you want to activatethe phone for calls. Press No to switch off the phone or Yes to make and receive calls.Warning! Do not press Yes when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it maycause interference or danger.• CALENDARWarning! Your phone must be switched on to use the calendar feature. Do not switchon the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interferenceor danger.
