C Press SEND to make a call to the number displayed.Using ‘Clear Last Call’ (Menu 10), you can set thegroup of last-dialed numbers to be either cleared orretained when the phone is switched off.RECORD OF MISSED CALLSA history of missed (unanswered) calls is storedautomatically in the “MESSAGES” Menu (Menu 20).The phone shows the number of missed calls withX MISSED CALLS (the character “X” represents thenumber of missed calls). To view the list of callingnumbers, press MENU STO STO. Using the keysMENU 20 STO will also bring you to the same menu.You can then scroll through the list of numbers usingthe arrow keys. Press SEND to dial the number that iscurrently displayed. The Caller ID feature only storesnumbers in the message menu.Note thatCALL still flashes on the phone to indicatean incoming call (see ‘Receiving a call’, page 11) ifthe phone cannot receive network information toactivate these features.RECEIVING SHORT MESSAGESIf you cannot answer a call for any reason, the caller orswitchboard can leave a short message for you, usingthe Digital Messaging Service (DMS).The message can be the caller’s telephone number, ashort text message, or a message to say you have avoicemail.When you receive a message it is stored, and displayedon your phone, so you can read it immediately. If youprefer, you can clear the display and read the messagelater. Your phone can store up to 20 messages at anytime and you can delete any you no longer need.If someone leaves the same message twice, the mostrecent message is displayed and stored as usual, butthe old message is deleted from the message store.17
