Record them and make calls in a quietenvironment.• When recording a voice tag or making a call by saying a voice tag, hold the phone in thenormal position near to your ear.• Very short names are not accepted. Use long names and avoid similar names for differentnumbers.Note: You must say the name exactly as you said it when you recorded it. This maybe difficult in, for example, a noisy environment or during an emergency, so youshould not rely solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.Recording a voice tagScroll to the desired name or phone number in standby mode, and press Detailsand Options. Select Add voice tag. Press Start and clearly say the word(s) youwant to record as the voice tag.Voice tags are stored in the phone and are removed when you insert another SIMcard into the phone.Making a call using a voice tagPress and hold Names in standby mode. Say the voice tag clearly while holding thephone in the normal position near to your ear. The phone plays the voice tag anddials the related phone number.If no match for the voice tag is found or recognised, press Yes to say the voice tagagain or Exit or to return to standby mode.If you use the HDC-5 headset, press and hold the headset button until you hear ashort tone and then say the voice tag clearly.
