General information■ Stickers in the salespackageThe stickers contain importantinformation for service andcustomer support purposes.Attach the sticker to YourDetails page of this owner’s guide.■ Access codes• Security code (5 digits): Thesecurity code protects yourphone against unauthorised use,and is supplied with the phone.The preset code is 12345. Changethe code in the Settings menu,see Security settings on page 36.Keep the new code secret and ina safe place separate from yourphone.Set the phone to request thecode, see Security settings onpage 36.• PIN code (4 trough 8 digits): ThePersonal Identification Number(PIN) code protects your SIM cardagainst unauthorised use. ThePIN code is usually supplied withthe SIM card.Set the phone to request the PINcode each time the phone isswitched on, see Securitysettings on page 36.• PIN2 code (4 through 8 digits):The PIN2 code may be suppliedwith the SIM card and is requiredto access some functions, such ascharging unit counters.• PUK and PUK2 codes (8 digits):The Personal Unblocking Key(PUK) code is required to changea blocked PIN code. The PUK2code is required to change ablocked PIN2 code.If the codes are not supplied withthe SIM card, contact your localservice provider for the codes.• Barring password: The barringpassword is needed when usingthe Call barring service, seeSecurity settings on page 36.
