The list of text templates,indicated with , and picturetemplates, indicated with , isdisplayed.Your phone offers you 10 picturemessage templates. You can alsosave new pictures into theTemplates folder. More pictures canbe found on the Nokia website,http://www.club.nokia.com.Note: This function can beused only if it is supportedby your network operator orservice provider. Onlyphones that offer picturemessage features canreceive and display picturemessages.• Each picture message is made upof several text messages.Therefore, sending one picturemessage may cost more thansending one text message.• Since picture messages are savedin the phone’s memory, youcannot view them if you use yourSIM card with another phone.Inserting a text template into amessageWhen you are writing or replying toa message, press Options. SelectUse template and select thetemplate that you want to insert.Inserting a picture templateinto a messageWhen you are writing or replying toa message, press Options. SelectAttach picture and select a pictureto view. Press Attach to insert thepicture into your message.The indicator on the header ofthe message indicates that a picturehas been attached. The number ofcharacters that you can enter in amessage depends on the size of thepicture.To view the text and the picturetogether before sending themessage, press Options and selectPreview.Reading and replying to atext messageWhen you have received a text orpicture message, the indicatorand the number of new messagesfollowed by messages received willappear on the display.The blinking indicates that themessage memory is full. Before youcan receive or send new messages,delete some of your old messages.1. Press Show to view the message,or press Exit to view it later.Reading the message later: PressMenu, select Messages andInbox.
