Saving multiple numbers and text itemsYou can save different types of phone numbers and short textitems for a contact in the phone memory for contacts. A textitem may be, for example, an address.The first number you save is automatically set as the defaultnumber, and it is indicated with a frame around the numbertype indicator, for example, . When you select a name fromcontacts, for example, to make a call, the default number is usedunless you select another number.1. Ensure that the memory in use is either Phone or Phone andSIM. See Settings for contacts on page 48.2. To access the list of names and phone numbers, pressin standby mode.3. Scroll to the name to which you want to add a new numberor text item.4. Press Details and Options, and select Add number or Adddetail.5. To add a number or detail, select a number type or text type.If you are connected to the presence service, and if you selectthe text type User ID, select Search to search for an ID by amobile phone number or an e-mail address on the server ofthe operator or service provider. See My presence on page51. If only one ID is found, it is automatically saved.Otherwise, to save the ID, press Options, and select Save.Select Enter ID manually, and enter the ID.To change the number or text type, press Options, and selectChange type. You cannot change the type of an ID when it isin the Chat contacts or Subscribed names list.To set the selected number as the default, press Options,and select Set as default.6.
